The screencap of my iPhone screen says it all. This is by far the coldest temperature I have ever experienced in my entire life. And I heard, Beijing is expecting this winter to be the coldest one in 50 years?!?! DAMN. And it's just December. Freezing point in Beijing is always around January to February. And no, it hasn't snowed yet. Huwahhhh!
On the other side of the spectrum, we're so lucky because we are staying inside the Shangri-La hotel, unlike when we spent 2 winters in Qingdao where we stayed in an apartment that was 10 minutes away by cab from the hotel where we worked in. So now, we can truly appreciate how convenient it is to stay in the hotel especially at this time.
And yes, I'm blogging this under the thick comforter of our bed. Keep yourselves warm, too, guys!
