Nasty insomnia

We, musicians, are known for sleeping late. There are few lucky ones who would sleep after their gig, experience eating breakfast and considered as a normal person. We're not freaks but insomnia is one of the things that musicians have been dealing with, or tolerating.

When we reached KL in January 2009, I could manage sleeping at 2AM. After 3 months, my bedtime is now changed as late... errr, early as 6AM! And yes, now it's past 8AM as of this writing.

I guess it's ok when I consider my job. My job is at night. Not the graveyard kind-of-shift, but I need a lot of energy & presence of mind in my job. But healthwise, it's not okay. I have lots of health supplements anyway. LOL.

Hohummm... I just yawned... Guess... it's... time... to... zzzzzz

How was your Holy Week and Easter?

Hope you all had a great Holy Week and Easter wherever you might be. I remember Holy Weeks in the Philippines. There would be lots of "pabasa" or "pasion" in the streets. You can join them as they sing the Psalms or the whole Bible (I honestly don't know much about what they're singing about). There wouldn't be much shows on the local TV, and we'd be excited to see "Jesus of Nazareth" or "The Ten Commandments" being shown on the TV instead.

On our street, a procession of the Jesus Nazarene would pass by after 3PM on a Good Friday. Then we'd go Visita Iglesia - visiting different churches - afterwards. Easter is usually celebrated with a mass then mall time.

Then after Easter is a manic Monday at work/school for some as the students on vacation continue to have more fun. Sucks, I know.

As for us here in Malaysia, we never felt any of these. I was even surprised to know that we were approaching Holy Week, but that's about it. Anyway, we're in the wrong country to expect people celebrating Holy Week. Gets? :-)

I have 100 followers on Twitter!

Well, I know it's not that much but most of these people are random people who would like to hear my updates! :-) I'd rather have 100 of these followers, than having 1000 follower who don't really care what I'm tweeting about. Ha!

My video "My White Xmas" muted on Youtube

Videos being muted got around YouTube since December 2008. Those videos are muted because of using copyright music. This has discouraged a lot of YouTubers who have given a lot of time and effort to their videos being submitted online.

And I am one of the latest victims.

Apparently, the "Winter Wonderland" instrumental that I used for my video "My White Xmas" which was uploaded to YouTube last December 2008. And I just read the warning lately, I don't know how long it's been sitting inside my "Account" page on YouTube.

It suggested me to Audioswap instead so that they'll allow it to be online again. Not that it is getting lots of views but man, I've really exerted a lot of time and effort in editing that one. The slow motion effect on that video had me using an iMovie HD app than my usual iMovie app. So I did "audioswapped" to another Christmas tune that's available for use from their Audioswap playlist. I'm just lucky that I have put some written captions on the video.

If you want to know what I'm talking about, check out the video after it's been approved by Youtube and after they upload it back to my account. If THIS LINK works, then they've already approved it. If not, who the hell knows why??!

Shorty got a shorty

Wish that my hair can be this shiny black & bouncy even after washing my hair a day after stepping out of the salon. I wish... If only wishes do come true. :-)

Don't panic. It's just a wig. LOL.
